Ceremony at Noon
It was a spectacular day. Guests began arriving promptly at 11:30 a.m. Unfortunately, we were (surprisingly) not ready. In fact, we were running around downstairs trying to set up the reception area, get AV issues settled, make sure the Bellinis were ready to be served upstairs. Wisely, we had checked into a nearby hotel, so it was a pretty quick change. But we really did not get the show on the road until nearly 12:45.
The Ceremony consisted of elements drawn from multiple cultures around the world, with a special nodd to JJ's Orthodox Christianity, though predominantly, this was a secular celebration of love and life.
The ceremony was officiated by Rev Jon Brown.

As promised the ceremony was over in 25 minutes, photos were taken, Champagne was gloriously guzzled. You can find the recording of the live stream (yes, we live streamed it for people who could not make it) here: Event Video. We also posted a transcript of the ceremony and our vows, as well as nearly 100 photos shot by our good friend Gustavo Monroy.
The Reception was held downstairs in The Dog Pound which we decorated appropriately. All well drinks, beer, soda and cocktails were complimentary, and some Hors d'oeuvres and platters were laid out on a table buffet style.
Of course there was the cutting of the cake and our "first" dance. Well, first as a married couple, I guess. We had video presentations, which can be found here: The 11th Anniversary Video and The Wedding Video.

To be honest, we had no idea what to expect, and the outpouring of love and kindness and generosity — Well, it was pretty overwhelming. Thank you so much to everyone who came and participated, whether in person or online. We love you all. And we expect to see you all out there again, soon.
